I was born in McAllen, Texas on February 8, 1982. I attended Memorial High School where I graduated in 2000. I received a Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree from the University of Texas in Brownsville Southmost College. Thereafter, I received my law degree from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio.

I am a second generation attorney. My father, John King, has been practicing law in McAllen, Texas for over 40 years.  Though I did not pursue the practice of law until my late 20’s, I have been influenced by it my whole life. The practice of law has limitless applications and constantly evolves with society’s needs.

The Rio Grande Valley is a beautiful place to live and is abundant with honest and hardworking people. I am grateful to be working with my father, and other great lawyers.

I am married to Ana King who is also a Valley native. Recently, she and I were blessed with the birth of our first child, Kaius John King.

Along with the practice of law, I am an avid waterman.
